Hi there
As you may already know, I've been a TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling
Club Volunteer Captain since 2016.
With TRAILBLAZERS, I ride a Tandem bike with partially sighted,
blind and deaf-blind people.
You cannot imagine how truly appreciative these kind people
are. I've come to realize that sight is a gift. To share
this gift with others is a pretty awesome experience.
TRAILBLAZERS is always looking for new Captains if you have any time
and energy to spare.

Over the years, TRAILBLAZERS members have supported "Cycle for
Sight" to support Fighting Blindness Canada.
Fighting Blindness Canada made a strategic decision to explore other
ways of fundraising. They will not be running Cycle For Sight
in the foreseeable future.
To ensure that this important annual event continues to thrive, many
of Cycle For Sight’s leaders, including the ride’s co-founders, have
created EyeRide.

This year’s raised funds will go to BALANCE for Blind Adults https://www.balancefba.org/
and TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club https://trailblazerstandem.org/index.shtml
I will be joining EyeRide on Saturday June 20, 2026 participating in
the 130 km ride.
I hope you can help our efforts with a donation of any kind.
Here is my donation page.
